After months of silence, Warrior Pro Wrestling is finally back with a very special Thanksgiving Eve show to celebrate the long standing tradition of festive eating and squared circle entertainment. With a BIG announcement coming next week surrounding the event schedule for the rest of the year, Warrior Pro is presenting a packed show from the newly remodeled Historic Old Moffett Arena.Turkey Rumble 2023 will be LIVE TONIGHT @530pm on TWITCH!Show Preview: "Young Gun" Memphis vs Markus WinterBaron Wrestling School's own Memphis will take on Markus Winter in what could be a match stealing opener. Memphis is rumored to be close to graduation and could put himself on the map with an upset win, while Winter will try to re-establish himself in the company after a slumping year. Grim Reapers vs Reed BrothersTwo former championship teams will look to build some momentum to close out the year, and potentially stake a claim at being the next in line for a future title shot. It will be a battle of styles as the high flying Reeds look to keep the brawling Reapers off balance. The Reapers have lost both the Warrior Pro and Struggle belts over the last 12 months, and will look to get back on track as one of the premier tag teams in all of pro wrestling. Byron Worthy vs Vic BaronThe time off has not cooled tensions between the newly reformed Jackson Hole Outlaws and Vic Baron's "Southern Boys". Vic has also been posting on social media a ton of pictures with him and the Big Gold Buckle- a prize he stole from Boss Ross Foreman back in February after losing his match... WPW Women's Championship #1 Contender: Della Wyatt vs Fiona WalshDella Wyatt has yet to live up to the big expectations that came when she signed with the promotion as the headliner of a new women's division. Defeating the former champion would finally set up her long awaited title match and put her one step closer to the top of the division. For Fiona, a win would solidify the rematch with Lizzy Jett- the woman who took her title from her over a year ago. Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Music City Wrecking Crew vs Tank & Lefty McDanielThis match is a bit of a surprise, with Lefty McDaniel fully recovered from ankle surgery (suffered when President Evil brutally smashed it with a chair at Warriorversary) Tank booked the Wrecking Crew's first defense against the McDaniel Family. This will only be the second time the two McDaniel's will have teamed up, and they'll have their hands full against one of the most decorated tag teams in the world. Either way, a championship match in one of the most famous wrestling venues in the state, featuring a man who routinely defended the world title in the hey days of the 80's wrestling boom, should be a hellova site to see... WPW World Championship #1 Contender: Rampage Hunter w/Paco vs John LoganTwo of the hottest wrestlers in the company before the break will renew their rivalry with a shot at Doc Wyatt's world title on the line. With Rampages alliance with Paco Pequeno official, the former champ will not only be fighting for a title shot, but also a chance at Paco's million dollar challenge. That has so far proved a difficult challenge to win, with Logan only losing one match in the last 2 years and decisively turning back every challenge his former manager has thrown at him. These two always put on a MOTY level fight, its tough to see how this would be any different...

Turkey RUMBLE 2023 With the long hiatus behind them, Warrior Pro Wrestling returned for what looks to be a new yearly tradition, the TURKEY RUMBLE. While low on title matches, the show was a good table setter to establish where the promotion seems to be heading with 2023 coming to a close. But the show was not without controversy, as the tag team championship was left up in the air, along with the very noticeable absence of reigning World Heavyweight Champion Doc Wyatt. To watch the show in its entirety, head on over here: After that, scroll down for a full recap of the show, including any post show interviews… "Young Gun" Memphis vs Markus Winter Recap:A strong performance from Memphis, the latest Baron Wrestling School trainee that seems ripe for graduation any week now. The "Young Gun" flirted with giving Winter another upset loss, but the former hot prospect stayed composed and eventually pulled out the victory. Winner: Markus Winter Rating: ★★★Grim Reapers vs Reed Brothers Recap:A very fun match between two former champions that saw both side collect near falls before Rip Reed would hit the Death From Above on Tyson Heyward to claim the win. This has been a brutal year for the former multi promotional champions, who have now lost three in a row and seem no closer to regaining their tag team titles. Winner: Reed Brothers Rating: ★★★Byron Worthy vs Vic Baron Recap:Warrior Pro Wrestling has been light on shows in 2023, but this match could be one of the year's best. The two technicians worked the ground game all match- jockeying for position and putting on a grappling clinic. Neither side seemed to be able to clearly sink in their finishing submission, and it eventually took Vic breaking with his typical game plan and hitting a top rope moonsault to snatch the win. Winner: Vic Baron Rating: ★★★★★WPW Women's Championship #1 Contender: Della Wyatt vs Fiona Walsh Recap:Since joining Warrior Pro as the women's division's signature signing, Della Wyatt has been unable to secure that signature win that would grant her the title show most assumed would be hers on Day 1. This was the night for that win. Wyatt dominated the former champion from the opening bell, using her superior size to close the ring and effectively neutralize the Irish grappler. The win sets up a clash with Lizzy Jett- the only woman who has beaten Wyatt (twice). The real question is when that match takes place... Winner: Della Wyatt Rating: ★★Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Music City Wrecking Crew (c) vs Tank & Lefty McDaniel Recap:The sole championship match of the night became a quick hotbed for controversy. With the match competitive but leaning in favor of the champions, Lefty McDaniel took Otto Alderson to the ground and began nailing him with headbutts to the back of the head. The ref, seeing Otto potentially knocked out, called the fight off and motioned that The McDaniels had won the match. However Otto seemed to not have been out, as he immediately rose in defense- also claiming (rightly) that the match ending move was illegal and thus should be a DQ- allowing the Wrecking Crew to retain the titles. Making matters more complicated was the fact that the ultimate decision maker, owner Tank McDaniel, was a participant in the match. With everyone arguing and heading to the back we actually did not receive any official announcement on the results. Winner: DRAW? Rating: ★MAIN EVENT WPW World Championship #1 Contender: John Logan vs Rampage Hunter w/Paco Pequeno Recap:This match skipped any feeling out period and went straight to both men trying to knock each other's head off. Both sides exchanged knockout punches, both sides shook it off and returned the favor. Call it youth, or maybe Rampage just hits harder, but the big man hit a Samoan Drop, into a Spear, into a LIGHTS OUT powerbomb that eventually secured not only the next title shot but also the MILLION DOLLAR PURSE from manager Paco Pequeno! Winner: Rampage Hunter Rating: ★★★★Post Show News and Notes: There was no press conference after the show, but Tank McDaniel did say there would be a forthcoming announcement that would resolve the controversy around the tag titles along with dates for future shows. He also confirmed that Warrior Pro planned to run semi-regularly on Wednesday nights through at least the end of the calendar year, where the companies schedule would be re-evaluated. The companies next show was announced to be Warrior Grounds #35 on Wednesday November 29th
