THE FULL CARD: Park Hyun-woo vs Roy Carter Dragon Mask II vs Masahiro Suzuki Tanaka & Nomo vs Gears of War Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: Doc Wyatt (c) vs Jimmy Hawkins Shintaro Ito vs Tank McDaniel Dragon Fire Championship: Kenta Aoki (c) vs Red Masterson Warrior Pro Wrestling also announced it will be coming back to Texas on March 5th for HIGH NOON. Ahead of Dragon Fire's big show tomorrow, the promotion held a press conference, with both champions and challengers answering questions about their upcoming title fights. What was perhaps most interesting was what wasnt talked about- Shintaro Ito refused to answer questions about his match with Tank McDaniel, and the Warrior Pro owner wasn't even in the building to promote the match. Rumors have swirled for a month that the negotiations between both companies got heated regarding revenue split on the show, with some insiders pointing to Ito's frustration with how his people were promoted at Warriorversary (or more specifically, the lack of promotion at all). How this impacts future collaboration is a bit up in the air at this point, but hopefully the card for tomorrow goes as planned... New Years GOLD will be broadcast LIVE Tomorrow at 8am PT on TWITCH!Here were some highlights from the press conference: Doc Wyatt on his challenger Jimmy Hawkins:Jimmy Hawkins on his title shot:Red Masterson on his first Heavyweight Title shot:Kenta Aoki's interview was an odd one. He answered a couple early questions in Japanese, mostly about how his body felt (good) or around his training leading up to the fight (it was a good camp). When it got time to answer questions about his opponent he mostly just smiled or replied in English "I will win" repeatedly.

An exciting show to kick off both Dragon Fire Japan and Warrior Pro Wrestling into 2023 was overshadowed by the drama that is Doc Wyatt and President Evil. The war of words spilled over into an actual war- interrupting a night of highly entertaining matches that saw titles change hands, and rivalries take shape. You can still check out the entire show here: For all the recaps and post show press conference, read on... Park Hyun-Woo vs Roy CarterRecap:A hotly contested opener between two natural strikers, there was word going around the building that Park may be in line for the next title shot with a win- but the big Korean struggled to create space against Roy Carter. Roy continuously focused on the arm, eventually catching Park and stealing the victory. Winner: Roy Carter ★★★Dragon Mask II vs Masahiro SuzukiRecap:There have been whispers that Dragon Mask might be looking at retirement this year, but he looked anything but done in this match. DM2 took some brutal suplexes right on his head and shook them off like it was 2004- eventually sinking in his patent brain claw for the win. Winner: Dragon Mask II ★★★Gears of War vs Tanaka & NomoRecap:A rare team up between two rivals against the 2022 tag team of the year, Hideki Nomo and Koji Tanaka looked like a 10 year team in this one. Gears of War, making their first appearance in the promotion that made them famous in over 5 years, may have been looking past this match to a potential rematch for their tag titles. Regardless, that rematch looks in doubt now- as the Dragon Fire team took advantage and scored a big upset, with Nomo hitting a big Ace Valley Driver to secure the win. Winner: Tanaka & Nomo ★★★★Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: Doc Wyatt (c) vs Jimmy HawkinsRecap:Jimmy Hawkins may very well be a future world champion, but that time is not now. A fantastic back and forth match saw the young challenger take everything the champ could throw at him and come back with his own offense. But this likely just turned into a lesson for Flyin Jimmy- Doc Wyatt will do anything to win. The Champ pulled out the Brass Knucks and a "Shot Heard Round the World" would finish off the challenger for good. But... the story didn't end there... Winner: Doc Wyatt ★★★★★Immediately after the match, The Evil Administration, lead by a President Evil that looked both alarmingly healthy and in shockingly good shape., stormed the ring and immediately beat down the champ. While the crowd seemed to be very anti-Doc during his match, the gang up turned the fans in his favor, and the place ERRUPTED when Red Masterson, Roy Carter, and Byron Worthy (who has been a regular in Lightning Pro and wrestled earlier in a dark match before the show went on the air) hit the ring to even the odds. Eventually the former JACKSON HOLE OUTLAWS would clear the ring with both sides jawing back and forth before security finally escorted everyone to the back...Tank McDaniel vs Shintaro ItoRecap:Two walking legends meeting for the first time in 20 years in the twilight of both men's careers. This wasn't anywhere close to the same level match these two would have had in their heyday, but it was still a fun old man slugfest. Ito's gameplan seemed to be focusing on Tank's shot knees, but the Warrior Pro owner kept near the ropes, and eventually hit a big leg drop to take the win. Afterwards, Tank attempted a hand shake that was immediately ignored by the Dragon Fire owner. Winner: Tank McDaniel ★★★MAIN EVENT Dragon Fire Championship: Kenta Aoki (c) vs Red MastersonRecap:If Shintaro was pissed about his match, the main event didn't do anything to make him feel better. Kenta Aoki, who had held the title for over a year, came out guns blazing on the big Texan, throwing every knee in his arsenal. But Masterson seemed determined to finally win the big championship that has alluded him. A frustrated Aoki eventually left himself open and Big Red nailed a thunderous UNFORGIVEN to win the Dragon Fire Japan Championship. After the match, to the surprise of the crowd, the Jackson Hole Outlaws returned to the ring- Doc Wyatt included- and celebrated Masterson's win as the show went off the air... Winner: Red Masterson ★★★★After the show, all four former members of the JACKSON HOLE OUTLAWS came out to the press room, with Doc Wyatt taking to the podium...

We're less than 24 hours away from the first big Warrior Pro Wrestling show of 2023, and an epic cross promotional throw down between two of the most infamous groups in all of pro wrestling. To bring the hype train up to full volume, here's a good ol' fashion match card preview.... High Noon will be coming to you LIVE from the legendary Longhorn Hall in San Antonio Texas TOMORROW (3/5) at 8am PT on Twitch.
Match Previews: Baron Family Wrestling School Showcase: Markus Winter vs Young Gun "Tower"It would be irresponsible to run a card inside the birthplace of the Baron Wrestling School without showcasing the current crop of students. Tower, the impressive 7 footer will take on a former student in The Last Viking Markus Winter. Winter is coming off an impressive blow off match against rival Vic Baron, and will look to chop down the Young Gun in hopes of continuing his bid for a future title shot. With rumors of this class potentially graduating sometime in the year, Tower could be making his case early. Big Gold Buckle: Boss Ross Foreman (c) vs Vic BaronBoss Ross has held the buckle for over 6 months while challenges stayed dormant, until Vic Baron jumped the line and used family connections to challenge the big man for his grandfathers prize. Vic is looking to shake off a disappointing end to 2022 and re-stake his claim as one of the best pure wrestlers in the game today. Meanwhile The Foreman is sure to want to keep the buckle around his waist and prove his disappointing G2 was just an aberration. Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Mountain Men (c) vs Music City Wrecking CrewA match filled with big white hairy men looking to establish themselves as the top dogs to be reckoned with. The Wrecking Crew's brief title reign over the summer was a window into what this veteran team can do, but they're facing a (literally) giant test in the newly crowned champs. Mountain Men could make a statement in this match, following up a win over Gears of War with a win here would mark back to back victories over two of the most decorated Japanese tag teams today. Warrior Pro Women's Championship: Lizzy Jett (c) vs June AllgoodThis is a rematch from the Turkey RUMBLE, where the iWe star came oh so close to dethroning the champ with a barrage of brutal knees, before submitting to a beautiful counter armbar. The desperation move was indicative to LIzzy's impressive reign, lasting long enough in matches to find windows to finish off opponents. Can she do it again? Or will June's offense be too much for a second miracle, and allow us to see a new champion? MAIN EVENT War Party Match: Jackson Hole Outlaws vs Evil AdministrationAfter what has seemed like years of verbal sparring between two of professional wrestling's biggest assholes, we finally got the one on one match between Doc Wyatt and President Evil- with a decisive outcome- that seemed to put the matter to bed. But when you have two assholes, nothing is ever really finished- and so President Evil raised the stakes, sending his thugs to Japan to jump the Warrior Pro Champ after his match and make a statement. What wasn't expected however, was Doc's old crew coming to the rescue and setting up a match pitting the two groups against each other. Throwing fuel on the fire was the shocking revelation that RAMPAGE HUNTER would turn his back on the fans and join the Evil Administration, for reasons that still haven't been made very clear. His experience in War Party Matches, a Series of Survival style match made popular in STRUGGLE, should lend itself an advantage- but it would be foolish to ever count out The Outlaws in anything. This could be one for the history books, one way or the other...

For the second straight year, Warrior Pro Wrestling kicked off their schedule with a big show in San Antonio Texas. High Noon lived up to the hype, including an epic WAR PARTY main event that added another chapter to the Doc Wyatt/ President Evil blood feud. If you missed the show, you can check it out here: Otherwise, scroll down for all the match recaps and aftermath... Baron Family Wrestling School Showcase: Markus Winter vs Young Gun "Tower"This was a shocker, though really maybe it shouldn't have been. Markus looked unbeatable at the end of 2022, and many saw this as a tune up fight before he made the leap into the World Title picture. But the giant Young Gun had other plans, using his incredible size to take charge early and never really let it go. Tower never looked in trouble, and this win might be evidence that a graduation is forthcoming. Winner: Tower ★★★Big Gold Buckle: Boss Ross Foreman (c) vs Vic BaronThis has been a rough 12 months for Vic Baron. He lost the world title, failed to get it back in the rematch, lost the blow off match with Markus Winter, and now this. Boss Ross had something to prove- mainly that his showing at the G2 last year was a fluke. Not only did he beat Vic, but he did it while also taking manager Triple J to task- tossing the veteran around at ringside before finishing Vic off in the ring, getting his grandad to count the pin fall as added insult. Although... after the match... Triple J slid a metal pipe into the ring to... of all people... BARON VON BARON who nailed the Buckle Owner right in the knee, before all three men put the boots to Foreman. With boos reigning down and all three men celebrating, Vic removed Wild Bill's Big Gold Buckle and took it too the back with him, arm in arm with his grandfather... Winner: Boss Ross Foreman ★★★★Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Mountain Men (c) vs Music City Wrecking CrewTriple J would turn right back around and walk out with the Wrecking Crew for their match, with only slightly better results. This one was full of action but light on strategy, with both teams focused on brawling and not actually finishing the match. The champs sensing the match was headed for a draw, picked up the pace and seemed to have the win in sight before Triple J distracted the ref, breaking the pin and sending the match to a draw. We'll have to see if a rematch is in the cards, with Tank McDaniel noncommittal to who would challenge the champs next... Winner: DRAW (Mountain Men retain) ★★Warrior Pro Womens Championship: Lizzy Jett (c) vs June AllgoodLizzy Jett has been a bit of a cinderella story since her debut in the promotion. Regarded as mostly a mid carder on the indy scene, she has proven her toughness time and time again as she earned- then defended- the women's title over all comers. But she ran into a buzzsaw tonight, getting her head knocked clean off by the iWe star, becoming the third champion in the promotion's history. After the match Lizzy stayed down for several minutes before slowly making it to her feet with assistance from the doctors. No official word on her condition was released but sources say she was taken to the local hospital to be tested for a concussion. Winner: AAAAAND NEEEEW CHAMP June Allgood ★★★★MAIN EVENT: War Party Match: Jackson Hole Outlaws vs Evil AdministrationThis was an utter blood bath- by the end of the match you would have thought the ringmat was suppose to be colored red. Both teams brawled all over the ring with a sense of urgency, but it was Outlaw Byron Worthy who truly seized the moment- eliminating Agent 35 before shocking the arena by eliminating a returning Rampage- continuing to be the big man's kryptonite. It took President Evil himself to finally eliminate "Prime Time"- but the former Heavyweight Champion would then turn around and eat a brutal lariat from Red Masterson to cap off the match... meaning Doc Wyatt never even had to get into the ring... Winner: Jackson Hole Outlaws ★★★★After the show, Vic Baron and crew were seen celebrating with the buckle they stole- loudly proclaiming Vic the "real" Big Buckle champion, before piling into cars and exiting the arena.
As for the media, Doc Wyatt gave a statement, while surrounded by the Outlaws...
