With a couple of weeks between 2020 and 2021, Warrior Pro Wrestling released their first slate of shows for the coming year. The company is planning two Warrior Grounds as a lead in to their first major show of 2021: The dates for these upcoming shows are as follows: Warrior Grounds #22: January 15th (taped) Warrior Grounds #23: January 29th (taped} HIGH NOON: Thursday February 4th LIVE on TWITCHThe Monitor was able to sit down (virtually) with owner Tank McDaniel to discuss the current state of Warrior Pro, and what to expect in the coming year... Last year was a challenge for everyone, how did you think it went and what’s on tap for this year? Any updates on John Logan? You’ve been pretty quiet regarding that whole situation… Speaking of injuries, any update on the Reed Brothers? Both of them have been on the shelf due to Danny Angelo… Any news on the Outlaws? Lots of rumors that the group isn’t getting along dating back to last summer. Last question- any announced matches for High Noon?

The Wrestling Monitor obtained surveillance footage outside the Luxurious Lounge earlier today that appears to show Warrior Pro wrestler Tommy “Masshole” O’Malley leaving the building in what appears to be the Luxurious Purple Jacket. The Lounge has been closed since the COVID pandemic shut down local businesses, and with it the continuous challenges for the Luxurious Purple Jacket. While the image above would seem to indicate theft, to date no formal charges have been filed with local authorities and the iWe has yet to comment. More to come as information is made available...

Tomorrow marks the first Warrior Pro Wrestling show of the new year, and it should be an eventful affair, with three exciting matches plus appearances by John Logan and the entire Jackson Hole Outlaws! Check back here tomorrow for all the results, angles, and promos! Match Previews:Markus Winter vs Danny AngeloDanny Angelo ended 2020 on a tear, brutally disposing of both Reed Brothers before taking Doc Wyatt to the brink in a match for the IC title. Now he starts off 2021 against another rising star in Markus Winter, who no doubt has big goals for the year after an impressive 2020 that saw him win the IC title and be on the brink of a G2 finals appearance. The winner of this match could be setting the stage for a big year to come... Grim Reapers vs The MassholesThe Reapers are looking to get back in the win column after ending last year suffering their first loss in the promotion and dropping their belts to Gears of War. They’ll take on The Massholes in what could be an interesting tune up match. Tommy Masshole has been in the news lately with accusations (and evidence) that he’s stolen the Luxurious Purple Jacket, and while there has been no official statement, the iWe (which owns the jacket) is said to be furious with the theft. Sources indicate Tommy not only plans to bring the jacket to the arena, but will also be wearing it in the ring. Regardless, a win from either side should give them cause to be the new champs first challenge- so expect a slugfest. Rampage Hunter vs Brick CaseyThe main event pits the newest member of Warrior Pro’s training school against his initial pupil. Rampage Hunter has been on one of the rougher stretches of his young career- losing the IC title over the summer, a shot at the world title in the fall, and the Southeast Memorial belt right before the new year. A win here could get him back on track, but he’ll have a massive “Brick Wall” to get around- with the seven footer telling friends he’s been training for one last push at a title run before his focus shifts to the Baron Wrestling School. Rumor is the winner will face off against Vic Baron at High Noon...

Warrior Grounds #22 Warrior Grounds opens up with a highlight package from 2020, ending with the main event of End of the World where John Logan finally won the belt from Machine Gun Mayhem. Afterwards, none other than the World Champ John Logan made his way to the ring to a mix of cheers and boos.Logan drops the mic and exits the ring...Markus Winter vs Danny AngeloRecap: A hard fought, back and forth match from two of the true rising stars of the promotion. Markus seemed to have the edge several times, but Danny Angelo continues to come into his own and eventually secured another impressive victory. Winner: Danny Angelo Rating: ****After the Match…The Reed Brothers, sneaking through the crowd put the boots to a completely caught off guard Angelo. As Trey Taylor sprinted out from the back to make the save, both Reeds exited out, with Maverick grabbing a mic as they walked to the back..Grim Reapers vs The MassholesRecap:As rumored, Tommy Masshole came out to the ring flaunting the Luxurious Purple Jacket, even refusing to take it off when the match began. It didnt bring him any luck regardless, as the Reapers did their reaping, disposing of the Massholes in their typical efficient style. Winner: Grim Reapers Rating: ***Rampage Hunter vs Brick CaseyRecap:This was the focused, hard hitting affair you’d assume from both men. Rampage came out of the gate on fire, controlling the match and hitting Brick with everything he had, seemingly ending it with a spear right in the middle of the ring. But, as has been the case for the last couple months, it wasnt enough for Rampage to end the match. The giant vet kept coming back and eventually hit a Brick Wall chokeslam to earn the victory. Winner: Brick Casey Rating: ****As the match ended, both men shook hands and made their way to the back, before the Outlaws, complete for the first time in months, made their way to the ring together. Doc Wyatt grabbed a mic, but before he could start Bo “The Animal” Leslie, the veteran from Dragon Fire Japan came out from the back and entered the ring…With Red unconscious, Doc turns back to the group and continues his speech…As Byron and Bo Leslie put the boots to Roy Carter, Doc starts up again…Doc drops the mic and the three Outlaws pose to the crowd as the show goes off the air...

An extremely newsworthy Warrior Grounds was met with complete silence last week, with the promotion giving no comment to what seemed to be a complete blowup of its most popular stable. That changed this morning, with an announcement that the Outlaws would face off in the main event of this Friday’s Warrior Grounds, the main event featuring Doc Wyatt and Byron Worthy vs Red Masterson and Roy Carter. Also announced f or High Noon- a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship, Doc Wyatt vs Red Masterson. No word on whether we’ll get comments from either side of this mess on Friday. Speaking of messes, the continued saga over the Luxurious Purple Jacket continues this week. David Harley, the owner of the Luxurious Lounge, has been said to not want any legal involvement and will instead handle this “internally.” That appears to mean sending former Warrior Pro Intercontinental Champion Robino to the promotion to get the jacket back, with a match confirmed with Tommy O’Malley set for Friday. The Reed Brothers made their return last week, putting the boots to Danny Angelo after he put both brothers out of action at the end of last year. They opened their weekly podcast with a shout out to just that… Finally, the Grim Reapers left an ominous challenge on their Instagram account following their Warrior Grounds #22 win.. Warrior Grounds #23 is THIS FRIDAYThe announced card: Rip Reed vs Trey Taylor Robino (iWe) vs Tommy “Masshole” O’Malley Outlaw Civil War: Red Masterson & Roy Carter vs Doc Wyatt & Byron Worthy

Perhaps one of the most historically significant main events in Warrior Grounds history will take place tomorrow as the Jackson Hole Outlaws face off against each other in tag team action. And this match is only the beginning, with Tank McDaniel announcing that at High Noon, Doc Wyatt will face Red Masterson and Byron Worthy will face Roy Carter. Its truly an Outlaw Civil War… Match Previews:
Rip Reed vs Trey TaylorThe Reeds, coming back from injuries suffered at the hands of Danny Angelo, have been on the warpath. Two weeks ago they attacked Danny after his match, and this week they called out the Bay Ballerz- demanding a non-sanctioned match at High Noon. The Ballerz have been quiet in their response as of now, but they did agree to this match- which should pit two of the companies most exciting young stars in what is sure to be fast paced and all action. Robino (iWe) vs Tommy “Masshole” O’Malley
Man, Tommy O’Malley has a sweet looking jacket. Warrior Pro Wrestling’s resident drunkard has been making waves since his return, sporting the Luxurious Purple Jacket- an item he stole from the Luxurious Lounge- which has drawn the ire of iWe owner (and owner of the jacket) David Harley. Harley has dispatched former Warrior Pro Intercontinental Champion Robino to retrieve the jacket as well as send a message to O’Malley not to fuck with his promotion. Nothing could go wrong here at all...
Outlaw Civil War: Red Masterson & Roy Carter vs Doc Wyatt & Byron Worthy
Very likely the biggest main event in Warrior Grounds history. After two years of wreaking havoc on pro wrestling both inside and outside Warrior Pro, Doc Wyatt has drastically shook up his signature stable. Kicked out were Red Masterson and Roy Carter, and replacing them shockingly were former Dragon Fire Heavyweight Champion Bo “The Animal” Leslie. Throw on top rumors that Doc is intending on recruiting one more member tomorrow, and the future of the Outlaws will be something to keep a very close eye on in the coming weeks... Also, Jimmy Hawkins and Gears of War will be on hand to respond to their respective challenges. You can check out the entire show THIS FRIDAY right here!

Warrior Grounds #23 The show opens with highlights from the last Warrior Grounds, including the bombshell dismantling of the Jackson Hole Oulaws. Aferwards, Jimmy Hawkins makes his way to the ring... Rip Reed vs Trey TaylorRecap:A fast paced back and forth from two future stars that saw Trey continuously try and trap Rip in his patent submissions, while Rip kept the action quick to avoid getting taken down. In the end it was an impressive sequence of a sitting superkick into a standing moonsault that saw the Reeds finally grab an advantage in this continued rivalry... Winner: Rip Reed Rating: ***After the match Tag Team Champions Gears of War make their way to the ring... Tommy “Masshole” O’Malley vs Robino (iWe)Recap:Robino came out firing right from the start, but the current wearer of the Luxurious Purple Jacket has seemed more alert and sober lately, and seemed to weather the storm for what looked like a potential comeback.... until the entire Jackson Hole Outlaw stable- lead by Doc Wyatt- came to the ring and interfered, ensuring Robino won the match. Winner: Robino Rating: ***After the match, the Outlaws returned to the ring. With Robino distracted by the company, Tommy O'Malley was able to rush to the back, jacket still in hand. Doc grabbed a mic and joined a confused Robino in the ring... Confused, Robino looks around before staring at Doc's outstretched hand and grins... Doc/Worthy vs Red/Roy Outlaw Civil War: Red Masterson & Roy Carter vs Doc Wyatt & Byron WorthyRecap:A deeply personal war turned into one of the promotions best tag team matches in ages. Lots of action back and forth as the Outlaws two newest members watched at ringside. In the end it was Roy Carter getting caught with a Black Gold that gave Doc Wyatt the win. Winner: Doc Wyatt & Byron Worthy Rating: ****After the match both sides continued to jaw back and forth at each other while Red pointed at Docs belt, and the champ raised it in defiance as the show went off the air... ALL OF THIS GETS SETTLED IN ONE WEEK, HIGH NOON WILL BE LIVE ON TWITCH THURSDAY FEBRUARY 4TH

We're a little over 24 hours before the first Warrior Pro Wrestling show of 2021. All titles are on the line, the Outlaw Civil War continues, and the next challenger for the heavyweight title will be determined. You can check out all the action LIVE ON TWITCH tomorrow at 5:30pm PTMatch Previews:Tank McDaniel vs "Young Gun" Bull Bronson (w Austin Baron)The owner of Warrior Pro will lace them up to face Austin Baron's prized pupil in what should be a heavy hitting opener. The legend is undefeated in singles action inside a Warrior Pro ring- will he be able to turn back the clock again? Or will the impressive Young Gun string together his second consecutive victory... Byron "Prime Time" Worthy vs Roy CarterFormer tag team partners face off in a battle of two decorated shoot fighters. Byron will look to make a name for himself as he sets his sights this year on a prominent singles run while Roy Carter will look to prove he can survive the post Outlaws world. Expect this one to come down to who can slap on their deadly submission first, with the winner launching themselves into one of the singles title pictures... The Reed Brothers vs The Bay Ballerz (unsanctioned street fight)While not officially on the card, Tank has given the OK for these two teams to settle their beef inside the ring. The Reeds are out for blood after Danny Angelo put both brothers on the shelf late last year. This one is for pride, but don't be surprised if the winner sets their sites on gold when all is said and done. Brick Casey vs Vic "The Technician" BaronTwo well respected vets will face off for a chance at claiming the next shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Vic Baron has been looking for his shot to recapture the gold he held as this point last year, but he'll have a massive obstetrical standing in the way. Brick Casey's win over Rampage Hunter was extremely impressive, and the big vet is looking to avenge a loss for the Title he suffered last year to Vic Baron. This will come down to a classic technique vs power matchup, with the winner watching at the results of the main event. Tag Team Championship: Gears of War (c) vs Grim ReapersWhen the Grim Reapers shocked the world at Warriorversary II by defeating reigning champs Gears of War, many looked at it as the changing of the guard, with a new top dog occupying the mantle of best tag team in the company. That seemed like an accurate description until the rematch 3 months later, where Gears exacted revenge and re-claimed their belts for a record 3rd time. Now we get the much anticipated rubber match, with the belts and the top dog status on the line in what might be the biggest tag team championship match in the companies history. Intercontinental Championship: Doc Wyatt (c) vs Red MastersonA slow brewing feud has existed for over a year between these two. Ever since Doc Wyatt jumped the line on Red to challenge Cowboy Johnston for the Lone Star Championship. Ever since both men stared at each other across blocks in the G2 tournament. Ever since Doc challenged and defeated Red for the Intercontinental Championship. Now that simmer is a full boil, with Doc kicking Red out of the Jackson Hole Outlaws and disavowing his one time bodyguard. The stage is now set for a rematch over the IC title, with a true test at stake over whether Red Masterson has truly outgrown his role as second fiddle, or if Doc Wyatt is still the top of the food chain for the division. World Heavyweight Championship: John Logan (c) vs "Flyin" Jimmy HawkinsAfter years of falling short of the top prize int he promotion, John Logan closed out 2020 winning the World Heavyweight CHampionship... before announcing his exit from the company. Freshly signed by Golden Touch Promotions, Logan returns to his old company for his first title defense. His opponent is Jimmy Hawkins, a flashy future superstar who closed out his own 2020 with two straight shocking upsets over the new champ. Now he's hoping for a third shocker and his first World Title. Logan meanwhile wants to build his legacy at long last by defending the title and remaining in the back of the mind of Young Blood, his new teammate and budding rival. If their previous matches hint at anything, this main event could bring the house down...

High Noon is in the books, and it was a highly successful kickoff to 2021, with entertaining matches from top to bottom on the card, including a potential MotY, and a couple rivalries that seem to be just getting started. Scroll down for all the matches, recaps, and post show promos.... Tank McDaniel vs "Young Gun" Bull Bronson (w Austin Baron)Recap:There is a bright future ahead for Bull Bronson, and that future might not be too far off. But Tank McDaniel is a legend for a reason, and despite the rookie giving Warrior Pro's owner everything he could muster, it wasnt enough to over come two Axe Bombers. Winner: Tank McDaniel Rating: ****The Reed Brothers vs The Bay Ballerz (unsanctioned street fight)Recap:What a wild crazy match. Unofficial or not, this might have been one of the most entertaining tag matches in the companies history- which numerous crazy spots and potential match enders. It seemed the Reeds would finally get their payback, when Maverick Reed hit Danny Angelo with the Crash Landing (tower hacker bomb). But the refwould be distracted with an outside dive from Trey Taylor and miss the pinfall. The Ballerz would rally, and a thunderous lariat from Danny Angelo to Rip Reed would seal the victory and give the Ballerz another win over the high flying brothers. Winner: Bay Ballerz Rating: ****Byron "Prime Time" Worthy vs Roy CarterRecap:Byron Worthy has arrived. The patriarch of the Outlaws, Virgil Wyatt, made his return to Warrior Pro in Worthy's corner and witnessed a technical, mat based match that saw both men pull from their shoot training backgrounds- working submissions and looking to make the other tap. In the end it would be a Phoenixplex from "Prime Time" that would secure the victory for the Outlaws. Winner: Byron Worthy Rating: ****Brick Casey vs Vic "The Technician" BaronRecap: With the next shot at the World title on the line, both men left it all in the ring. As was the case in his match with Rampage Hunter, Brick Casey absorbed absolutely everything Vic Baron through at him- and eventually nailed the former champ with a brutal Grenade to pick up the win. Winner: Brick Casey Rating: ***Tag Team Championship: Gears of War (c) vs Grim ReapersRecap:Just like the first two matches, this one was brutal and physical. GoW followed their gameplan from the last match, cutting off the ring and keeping the action in front of their own corner. A title defense seemed inevitable, until Tyson Heyward caught Riot off guard in his Deaths Door submission and passed out, causing a refs stoppage and giving the Reapers their second reign as champs. Winner: AAAAANNND NEEEEW CHAMPS Grim Reapers Rating: ***Intercontinental Championship: Doc Wyatt vs Red MastersonRecap:Its only February, but this has got to be on the list for MotY. An epic back and forth that saw both men hit and kick out of finishers, and Doc just barely avoiding Red's monster lariat. Sensing a potential upset, Doc did what Doc typically does, and found a way to tilt the scales, nailing Red with a brass knuckles punch that knocked the big Texan clean out. Winner: Doc Wyatt Rating: *****
After the match, Doc continued the assault on the unconscious Red until Warrior Pro officials stepped in to peal him off... World Heavyweight Championship: John Logan (c) vs "Flyin" Jimmy HawkinsRecap:John Logan came into this match wanting to make a statement, and that he did. There was no feeling out, no "wearing down" stage of this match. Both men came out looking for the kill, with Hawkins hitting a Superkick early, and Logan answering with back to back Sky High's. Those two moves seemed to rock Hawkins in a way he never fully recovered from, and despite a bit of a comeback, Logan eventually nailed the Logan's Run in the middle of the ring to secure his first title defense. Winner: John Logan Rating: ***After the show, a few wrestlers were made available to the media... John Logan, with his manager Paco Pequeno were first to the podium...Next at the podium, Doc Wyatt- surrounded by the entire Jackson Hole Outlaw gang- Byron Worthy, Robino, Bo Leslie, and Virgil Wyatt...Just then Red Masterson runs in through the media, jumps over the table and tackles Doc in mid air, both tumbling to the floor in a sea of punches getting thrown from both sides. Mayhem ensues as the rest of the Outlaws pounce on Red, as security and an assortment of other wrestlers rush to separate everyone- eventually getting both Doc and his buddies on one side of the room, and a furious Red on the other side, with Tank calling an end to the press conference and motioning for all reporters to leave the room...
